Library foundation awarded Four Way Community Foundation Grant

Williams, June 1, 2022 — The library foundation has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Four Way Community Foundation to create ADA-compliant parking at the New Williams Library branch at 20140 Williams Highway.

“We are so grateful to Four Way Community Foundation for continuing to support ongoing library projects,” said Josephine Community Library Foundation Executive Director Rebecca Stoltz. “These partnerships help make the work we do to offer our community upgraded and modern library facilities possible.”

Four Way Community Foundation supports the community by making capital grants to help local nonprofits meet their missions.

The current Williams library was constructed in 1977 as a temporary unit. It has no running water and no bathroom. The new library will resolve severe overcrowding, the lack of bathrooms and running water, and important Wi-Fi and Internet access for rural residents.
